GIAL currently offers four academic classes in Muslim studies.- LD5310 Core components in Islam
- LD5312 Islam’s Impact on the 21st Century
- LD5314 Modern Islamic Religious and Political Movements
- LD5316 Contextualization Issues Among Muslim Peoples
In order to better serve students wishing to work in Muslim countries, the Abraham Center of Islamic and Muslim studies was created. The center is only in the beginning stages and plans to offer a Certificate program in Islamic studies and eventually a Masters degree so that graduates are equipped to live and serve in a Muslim culture.
Currently the greatest needs for the Center are faculty as well as publicity.
