From the one room school house to universities that are the size of cities, education delivery systems have changed to meet the needs of our world. The advent of the personal computer and the internet has accelerated the rate of change. GIALOnline is designed to assist in the education of those interested in the various aspects of applied linguistics.
There are two key purposes to GIALOnline:
1. To strengthen the traditional classroom education by providing online support.
2. To enable students to continue their studies without coming to Dallas by providing a Distance Education delivery of selected courses. While the number of courses currently available through Distance Education is small, GIAL is committed to adding new Distance Education courses each term.
Current Distance Education courses offered through GIALOnline:
Fall 2012:

- Scripture Engagement Strategy and Methods
- Relevance Theory - Seminar in Applied Linguistics: Introduction to The Bible Translator’s Assistant
Spring 2012:
