Here’s an exciting new option: Apply for Gateway Admission to GIAL. By answering just a few application questions and sending in one university transcript, you may be able to take up to 9 semester hours at GIAL.
Returning students are not eligible for Gateway Admission. See the “Returning Students” instructions below.

Financial aid application deadlines at GIAL are April 1 for study beginning in a fall term and October 1 for studies beginning in a spring term. A GIAL application for admission should be on file at GIAL before applying for financial aid.



 
 

 
Students resuming studies after
an absence
No application is required for most students
resuming studies at GIAL after an absence. Instead, please contact the Admissions Office
at least 1 month before your expected reentry date so that GIAL can reactivate and update your student record file.
 
A new Financial Aid Application is required at each reentry to GIAL.
