The GIAL code to be used for the GRE is 6605.
Send all your non-US school records sent to the Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE), the school record evaluation service that GIAL recommends.  GIAL requires a “course-by-course evaluation.”  Click the picture to the left, click  “Apply Now,” select your country, and then “List of required documents,” you will see which school records to submit and how to submit them to ECE.  Any school records you send to ECE, you should also send to GIAL.
If your first language (mother tongue) is not English, you are required to take the TOEFL exam (Click the picture).  At the time of the test you can request that scores be sent to GIAL. GIAL’s school code for TOEFL is 6605. The IELTS English exam (Click For English Programs) may be taken in place of the TOEFL.  If you have taken either the IELTS or the TOEFL exam in the past 2 years, you can request that the testing agency send your scores to us.
