An international student may apply for Graduate Admission. If planning to come to GIAL on a student visa, your application paperwork will be handled by the International Student Center at GIAL. An applicant coming to GIAL on any other visa or holding a green card showing permanent U.S. residency must include documentation of immigration status with the GIAL application form.Additional requirements for student visa applicants
Complete and submit Supplement for International Admission
Complete and submit International Student Financial Statement and all supporting documents. If extended family members or other sponsors are contributing to your financial support, request that they complete and submit the Certificate of Joint Sponsor and Financial Responsibility (“Sponsor Form”).
Complete and submit Medical History form. Complete and sign pages 1-3; the 4th page needs to be signed now, but will be filled out soon after your arrival in the US.
Complete and submit a photocopy or scanned copy of the ID page of your passport.
Financial Responsibility
In order to be certified for a student visa, all international students must verify ability to cover all reasonable expenses associated with living and studying at GIAL. Our International Student Financial Statement is the only form we use for this process. You may also have someone submit a Sponsor form on your behalf. In order to help students complete this form, the following table should assist you in knowing GIAL costs.
