Joint Programs

DBU Students Students wishing to take Certificate classes as part of their bachelor’s degree from Dallas Baptist University (DBU) should register for them through DBU. For further information contact Dr. Bob Garrett at DBU.
DTS Students Students in the joint degree programs with Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) must apply to both GIAL and DTS. Such students should apply for Limited Enrollment Admission at GIAL. In addition to other requirements, they must submit a letter of good standing from DTS.
RBC Students Students wishing to take Certificate classes as part of their bachelor’s degree from Roanoke Bible College (RBC) should register for them through RBC. For further information, contact Dr. Lee M. Fields or the Admissions office at RBC.
SBTS Students Students pursuing the dual degree program in conjunction with Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS) should apply for Graduate Admission at GIAL as well as at SBTS. These students will be completing the MA in Applied Linguistics with a Bible Translation concentration here at GIAL.
SWBTS Students Students pursuing the MA in Applied Linguistics (Cross-Cultural service concentration) from GIAL, including 18 hours of transfer credits from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS), should apply for Graduate Admission. If they intend to transfer in all 18 hours of transfer credits, they must submit a letter of good standing from SWBTS.
