AL5320 - Translation Consulting Skills
(3 graduate credits)
(This course is recommended only for students with field experience.) After completing this course, the student will be able to describe the tasks and responsibilities of a translation consultant, as well as the techniques used for (a) training and guiding a translation team and (b) checking Bible translations for exegetical accuracy, communicative effectiveness, and naturalness in the receptor language. Note: This course has limited enrollment and is offered concurrent with AL5316.
