AL 5379 Sustainable Development
and the Role of Change Agents

(3 semester hours) (TBA)
After completing this course, the students will have explored anthropological perspectives on community development. They should understand the concept of sustainable development and the roles that individuals (both insiders and outsiders) play in that process. They will have applied ethnographic insights to the problem of how to responsibly and respectfully partner with local people in the process of sustainable development.
